The Low-Impact Movement.
The Low Impact Movement is a movement/lifestyle of leaving a smaller impact on the Earth and the environment than the average person. It means trying to have a lower carbon footprint, sourcing food locally, ditching plastics and single-use products, and generating less trash.
You might have heard of the Zero Waste movement as well, but I am starting to prefer Low Impact better. In our day and society no one can be truly Zero Waste, and sometimes the term sounds extreme to people who are just starting out. The term Zero-Waste also can sound like you have to reach perfection, and that there is no room for error.
